Hi, Linda. I'm the site owner/administrator, and I appreciate your thanks. I'd have been at Don's memorial service as well, except for the fact that I am still recovering from a bout of bronchitis with accompaning cold/sinus infection. Don and I were not close, but he was one of my oldest acquaintenances from Wichita Falls. I met him in the 8th grade at Barwise Jr High shortly after moving to Wichita Falls in early 1961. We lived on Sherwood Lane just off Hampstead then, and he was one of several guys (including Mike Kelly and Charles Ireland) who frequently stopped off at my house on the way home from school. My mother used to chastise him for slamming the door on the way out, and that was about the only time I saw Don speechless! I did get a chance to catch up with him at the last reunion, however. He was a good guy and will be missed.
