It's so hard to believe that our school friends are leaving us. I'm sorry we weren't able to keep in touch and I'll be praying for his family in their time of grief.   Barbara Yates Cummings

I had to think for a moment because I knew that I knew Tony - I just couldn't think from where.  Tony was a barber in a place on Seymour Highway that was probably a converted single-wide trailer.  My dad had used him but thought he talked too much and kept noting that my sideburns were never even.  I remember hearing "I Want to Hold Your Hand" on his radio just like it was yesterday.  I don't know what he ended up doing - I can't find him with Google.  I hope he had a great life.

I remember Tony from Rider. He may have been in some of my classes. He was a nice young man. I joined a group of classmates for lunch in Plano several yrs. ago and learned Tony was having health issues.
I believe he was in the hospital at that time. I extend my prayers to his family at this sad time.

I remember Tony, he and I had classes togather (too much water below the bridge to tell you which ones, now).  I remember him as\happy and very nice.  Our prayers and thoughts go to his family.

We each walk this earth with a purpose to achieve.  All these comments show how successful Tony had to be while he was fulfilling his purpose.  Sincere sympathy to close family and friends who are grieving their loss.

I have lunch about every six weeks with a group of DFW Rider gals. Fonda, Tony's sister, always attends. She told us about 3 months ago that they had moved Tony to a nursing home in McKinney. He has suffered from early-onset dementia for quite some time. Fonda is a sweet and caring sister, a blessing to Tony for sure. I will share these comments with her at our next luncheon. -- Ruth
