Christopher N. Wall, 58, a loving husband, son and brother, moved from life to eternity with his family by his side after a short battle with cancer Friday, June 9, 2006.Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Monday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Burial: 3 p.m. Monday in Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls. Open visitation: Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home. Memorials: Anyone wishing to honor Chris' memory may make donations in lieu of flowers to a charity of choice, the American Cancer Society or Community Hospice.A manufacturing engineer and materials manager for SPM Flow Control in Fort Worth, Mr. Wall had resided in Willow Park since 1995. Born in Tyler on July 12, 1947, Chris was the oldest of four children born to Macklin M. Wall and Millie Jean Nowlin Wall. He graduated from Rider High School in Wichita Falls in 1965. He served for a short time in the Army and he was stationed at Fort Bliss. Chris moved to Beaumont, where he graduated with a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering and a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Lamar University. Chris loved the feel of the outdoors and at the age of 20 he earned a pilot's license. He loved sailing on the ocean and on several area lakes. The ocean was where he most felt at home and at peace.Chris would like to be remembered for his zest for living and his thirst for knowledge. He met life's obsticles with courage and strength; from his excellence in academics and his struggle with low vision, to his fight with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Macklin M. Wall.Chris will always be missed by his family and friends. May he rest peacefully in the arms of his Lord. Survivors: Wife, Kitty Wall; mother, Millie Jean Wall; sister, Susan Rebecca Wall; brothers, Donald Gene Wall and wife, Corliss, and Joseph Kevin Wall; his wife's children, Valerie Baker, Philip Wilson, Leslie Wilson and Justin Wilson; grandchildren, Caleb, Carly and Cara Baker and Peyton Martinez; and nieces and nephews, Elaine Wall, Erin and Zack Deal and Ben and Kate Wall.
