Carol Lawrence passed away June 23, 2021 in Wichita Falls following a lengthy illness.

Carol was born February 8, 1947, to June and Jerrel Wallander. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, David Lawrence of Wichita Falls, a son Evan Lawrence and daughter in law Angela of Wimberly, Texas, a granddaughter, Margaux, sisters Sherrel Wallander and Ann Turpin of Wichita Falls, and brother in law Jim Lawrence of Wichita Falls.

Carol was a 1965 graduate of Rider High School and graduated from Midwestern State University in1968. At MSU she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. After graduation from MSU, Carol taught English and government for four years at Iowa Park High School before becoming a stay at home mom.

She joined the staff of Hirschi Realtors in 1997 and retired in 2019.

She was preceded in death by her son Stephen Lawrence; her parents and her brother Richard Wallander.

A private service will be held for family members.
